Giving

Supporting the church.

A major hallmark of the togetherness of God's people in the Old and New Testament is giving. The entire Bible is full of references to radical and consistent giving by believers to the temple in the Old Testament and the local church in the New Testament. Jesus said that our hearts would be where our treasure is (Matthew 6:21) and regular giving to your local church demonstrates that commitment.

To set up a standing order either:

  1. Complete the General fund standing order mandate form and send to your bank.
  2. Set up a standing order via your online banking system using the church's bank account details from the form.

In person

If you would like to give via cheque or cash we have giving envelopes available at our Sunday morning meetings and at the Church office.

Text message giving

You can give by text message by sending CITY03 £5 or CITY03 £10 to 70070 on your mobile phone.

This service is run by JustTextGiving. There is no cost to you for sending the text message and your free allowance/bundle will not be affected - the only charge will be the donation itself. 100% of your text donation (including Gift Aid if you complete the form texted back to you) will be sent to The City Church. The amount you're donating will be added to your mobile phone bill or deducted from your pay as you go credit.
