What we’re about

The City Church is all about making much of Jesus. We believe that He is God, that He came from Heaven to Earth to rescue us and did so by living, dying and rising.

You may have heard many things about Jesus and His Church that could lead you to believe we are all about rules and ‘good’ people. That couldn’t be further from the truth, the Church is made up of normal people that have encountered Jesus and haven’t been the same since.

We want to share the good news with everyone, that Jesus invites you to know grace, forgiveness and purpose.

We are a passionate, fun and devoted family that want to grow in loving Jesus, the Church and the world. To know and follow Jesus isn’t just a Sunday morning deal. To be a Christian is to be a disciple who is committed to following Jesus wherever he leads.

We are here to help and bless Canterbury, Chartham and beyond, living out the love of God that we have tasted for ourselves. We want to invite people to encounter Jesus with us.
