The Alpha Course

An opportunity to explore the meaning of life.

Regular Alpha Course Launch
Monday 30 January, 7.30pm at Morelli's Restaurant, Longmarket, Canterbury.

The Alpha course is an opportunity for you to ask all the questions you have about Christianity in an informal, relaxed atmosphere.

You may have never set foot in a church before, or maybe you went to your cousin’s uncle’s sister-in-law’s baby’s christening in 1982, or you may be looking at returning after a break.

Wherever you’re coming from, Alpha is accepting, fun and relevant for you.

A typical evening consists of a meal (which is free), followed by a short talk on an aspect of the Christian faith. Then we break into small groups, where there is a chance to chat through any issue raised that evening, or to ask any other questions you may have.

No question is taboo and though we don’t claim to have all the answers, we hope that together solutions can be found.

The Alpha course lasts for eight to ten weeks and includes a day away around five to six weeks in.

There are no strings attached to attending a course and you are not obliged to attend church.
