Baby Basics Canterbury
Who We Are
Baby Basics Canterbury is part of the wider Baby Basics UK Network β a national charity supporting vulnerable mothers and babies with essential items such as a safe place to sleep, clothing, nappies, toiletries, and postnatal care essentials for mum.
We help families facing difficult circumstances β including women fleeing domestic abuse and families arriving in the UK from war-torn countries.
Referrals are accepted only from Midwives, Health Visitors or Social Workers. This ensures families receive the support they need through trusted professionals, helping to build positive relationships and reduce any feelings of stigma or shame.
If you or someone you know needs support, please contact your health visitor or midwife:
Canterbury & Coastal Health Visiting Team: 0300 7900 156 or kentchft.canterburyHV@nhs.net
