Anyone is welcome at our Canterbury site. Whether you’re a Christian or just looking into Christianity, we would love to get to know you. Our desire is that everyone, whatever their life story, feels welcome to enjoy our Sunday morning services.
On a Sunday morning we spend time worshipping Jesus together and hear preaching from the Bible. We love the Bible’s call for the Church to be family – we do this on Sunday mornings through having time to connect before and after the service over a good cup of tea or coffee, through our under-18's groups and through serving and praying for one another.
WHEN WE MEET
Sundays, 10:15am - 12:10pm
MEETING DURING AUGUST
Usually our Sunday meeting is in the main hall at St Stephen's Junior School. However for July and August 2018 this is unavailable to us while repairs are made to the roof. For this reason we are doing things a bit differently over the summer. Here's an outline of our plan:
26th August 2018
We have a Summer Sunday service for a special open-air meeting out on the playing field behind the school. We’ll be praying for good weather and will have a plan-b!
St Stephen’s Junior School
2 September 2018 onwards
We hope that by this date the building work on repairing the roof of the main hall at St Stephens Junior School will be complete and we can return to meeting here.

Our crèche provision is for babies aged from 6 months to 2 years. Crèche begins after our time of worship and runs until the end of the service at 12.10pm. The babies have a great space to enjoy free play, sing songs and be read to.
We have three ‘City Kids’ groups; ‘Explorers’ (2 to start of reception), ‘Pioneers’ (reception, years 1 and 2) and ‘Trailblazers’ (Years 3, 4, 5 and 6). They enjoy some time of worship with the church family before heading into their groups for a fun and engaging morning learning about Jesus in interactive ways.
Our ‘City Youth’ group is for those in secondary school. After spending the first part of their morning worshipping with the church family they go into their group; where they have engaging talks from the Bible and discuss how to apply the truths of the Bible to their lives.
