Staff and other leaders

The eldership team are supported by the core office team who have responsibilities for particular areas of church life.

Martin Segal
Martin is employed part-time to work with our children's and youth work. Martin came to Canterbury in 2003 to study Politics at UKC. He loves Football, reading and a good film.

Roger Eaton
Roger's main responsibilities include managing the church's full time volunteers on Newfrontiers' Impact program, co-managing the church office, providing support to some of the teams and ministries that make up church life and overseeing the Sunday meeting production team.

Roger came to Canterbury in 1999 to study French at UKC and is married to Georgina. He loves good coffee, playing footie and eating moules frites!

Kirsty Knight
Kirsty started working as the church administrator in April 2009. Her main responsibilities involve all things administrative for the church! She enjoys baking, sewing and reading a good book. Kirsty is married to Olly.

Matt Hogg
Matt works in the office four days a week for Newfrontiers supporting Tom in his national student role and organising the student and twenties conference Mobilise. He works one day a week leading the communications team for the church.  Matt is married to Jen, loves cake, Jim Beam and LTFC!

Andrew Francis
Andrew works two days a week as part of our communications team concentrating on our graphic design and video work.

Alexi Brook
Alexi is employed part-time to work within Canterbury Debt Advice Centre, our free advice project for anyone in the Canterbury area facing financial hardship.
