Description

In this passage Jesus predicts his death for the third time and yet rather than utter gratitude, we see his disciple’s response is shocking: they are self obsessed, thinking about their own selves rather than Jesus being the centre. In this passage, Jesus paints a picture of His new community being servant-hearted in contrast to a proud, self-centred world.
