Leadership Team

The church family is led by a team called 'The Eldership Team'.  They carry the responsibility for the church and its direction.

Tom Shaw

Tom’s main responsibilities include:

  • Lead role in the eldership team
  • Teaching
  • Mission

Tom is married to Josie and they have two daughters, Daisy and Lilly.

Hugh Pearce

Hugh’s main responsibilities include:

  • Member roles
  • Teaching
  • Overseeing student work
  • Overseeing projects and ministries in church life

Hugh is married to Claire.

Tim Wilson

Tim’s main responsibilities include:

  • Pastoral
  • Cell groups
  • Finance

Tim is married to Claire and they have two children, Ben and Emma.

Core office Team

The eldership team are supported by the core office team who have responsibilities for particular areas of church life.

 Roger Eaton

Roger’s main responsibilities include managing the church office, providing support to some of the teams and ministries that make up church life and overseeing the Sunday meeting logisitics.

Roger came to Canterbury in 1999 to study French at UKC and is married to Georgina.

 

 

 Kirsty Knight

 

Kirsty started working as the church administrator in April 2009. Her main responsibilities involve all things administrative for the church! She enjoys baking, laughing and reading a good book with a lovely cup of tea! Kirsty very recently married Olly in June 2009.
