What is the Ministry?
We provide a selection of books, CDs and DVDS after the service on Sundays.
What is the vision of the ministry?
To provide good-quality, friendly and welcoming service bringing recommended Christian reading material to the church.
What does it look like on a week to week basis?
It looks like a couple of people chatting and selling books before and after main services on Sunday morning and after certain Sunday evening services, notably In.vision.
What would be involved in serving in this area?
The main area of service would be to serve on the shop on Sundays, selling the books and chatting to people after the service. If you wanted you could also be involved in ordering books, picking them up when orders come in and transporting books to and from services. You will be put on a rota and serve very 3-4 weeks.
What sort of person are you looking for?
An ideal person would be somebody who enjoys reading Christian books and knows a bit about them, somebody who likes talking to people and being sociable.
