The leaders of our church.
The eldership team carry the responsibility for the church and its direction.
Tom Shaw
Tom’s main responsibilities include:
- Lead role in the eldership team
- Teaching
- Overseeing student work
Tom is married to Josie and they have three daughters, Daisy, Lily and Poppy.
Tim Wilson
Tim's main responsibilities include:
- Building project
- Pastoral Care
- Small groups
- Finance
- Overseeing youth work
Tim is married to Clare and they have two children, Ben and Emma.
Hugh Pearce
Hugh's main responsibilities include:
- Member roles
- Teaching
- Overseeing kids work
- Projects and ministries in church life
Hugh is married to Claire and they have one daughter, Sophie.
Geoff Maile
Geoff recently joined the eldership team at The City Church. He moved from Canterbury to Whitstable to support the growth of our new site there.
